Emily Cullum
Emily is an account manager at WHWG with a wide range of issue experience, including telecommunications, agrobusiness, and childhood obesity prevention. She develops campaign ideas and strategy and manages their execution. Emily directs a team of writers, strategic partners and vendors to develop thought leadership content, op-eds, major conferences and more. The lead of WHWG’s digital practice, Emily advises and guides clients through online engagements in social media and website development.
Before coming to the White House Writers Group, Emily taught high school mathematics with Teach For America in Richmond, CA. She also worked in membership communications and marketing for 88.5 WFDD, an NPR affiliate in Winston-Salem, NC.
Emily graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Economics. She currently resides in Alexandria, VA.
