Emily Cullum

Emily joined the White House Writers Group as a Communications Associate in March 2010.

She works closely with the firm’s directors and writers to implement communications and outreach and maintain client relations. Emily’s responsibilities include providing research for writers who are drafting reports and papers, organizing client events and assisting in creative communications campaigns. She also plays a prominent role in the firm’s social media outreach.

Before coming to the White House Writers Group, Emily taught high school mathematics with Teach For America in Richmond, CA. She also worked in Business Development at Qualcomm and in membership and marketing for 88.5 WFDD, an NPR affiliate in Winston-Salem, NC.

Emily graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Economics. She currently resides in Alexandria, VA.
