Sabrina L. Schaeffer's experience extends the length of Constitution Ave, from Washington’s think tanks to Capitol Hill, where she has gained extensive experience in communications and public affairs.
Sabrina is returning to the White House Writers Group -- where she earlier worked as a Director -- after serving as a Vice President at The Herald Group, where she oversaw multiple client teams, worked with a range of highly regulated industries, including health care and financial services, and helped manage the firm's third party and media alliance relationships.
Prior to The Herald Group, Sabrina served for many years as executive director of the Independent Women’s Forum. During her tenure, the organization more than doubled in size, held events all around the country, published multiple books, and had a signficant impact on the conversation around women and public policy.
Sabrina also served as the speechwriter for Senator George Voinovich of Ohio. She began her career in Washington as an assistant to former United Nations Ambassador Jeane J. Kirkpatrick at the American Enterprise Institute.
She has commented extensively on politics and political culture -- with a focus on women, the workplace, and elections -- in publications such as Forbes, where she is a columnist, USA Today, The Weekly Standard, Foxnews.com, and many more. And she has appeared widely on Fox News, Fox Business, MSNBC, PBS, CNN, NPR, as well as radio stations across the country. Sabrina is the co-author of Liberty is No War on Women, and a contributor to Lean Together: An Agenda for Smarter Government, Stronger Communities, and More Opportunity for Women. She is on the board of directors of Right Now, which helps elevate future female leaders, as well as the American Conservative Union
Sabrina received her M.A. in Politics from the University of Virginia, where she focused on media effects and political behavior. Sabrina also earned an M.A. in American History also at UVA.
